Currency Matters Account Manager (Client & Partner)

Overview:

The candidate will manage a portfolio of existing clients and partners, providing excellent levels of customer service and seeking opportunities to expand our business.

The candidate will be responsible for assisting clients arrange and manage their foreign currency exchange and international payments, assisting the client to trade online using the Currency Matters Web Payment System or via phone or email. You will develop a strong knowledge of foreign exchange products, the currency markets and international payments. You will apply this knowledge to clients’ requirements to maximise profits and eliminate currency risk.

In addition, you will engage with our strategic partners, being a key point of contact between Currency Matters and our partners in order to grow the business.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Providing responses to inbound (phone & email) enquiries including securing new business and assisting existing clients with their FX and international payment requirements.
  • Building strong working relationships with new and existing strategic partners to expand our business and ensure a superior service to the end clients.
  • On-boarding clients including obtaining required KYC/AML documents.
  • Updating all relevant CRM and trading systems accurately and concisely.
  •  Understand fully internal processes, procedures and products thus enabling you to provide accurate guidance to clients at all times.
  • Work well across multiple teams covering account management, dealing, compliance, payments.
  • Seek opportunities to expand our business and increase revenue streams at all times including sourcing new clients, partners and maximising revenue from existing clients.
  • Achieve individual KPIs/targets relating to call quality, productivity, referrals, revenue etc.
  • Adhere to company policies and regulatory obligations.
  • Monitor foreign exchange markets and provide market news and analysis.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed in order to identify client needs through effective questioning and explain processes in a clear, straightforward and effective way.
  • Strong numerical skills in order to quote and trade foreign exchange and analyse financial data (client requirements, profit margins, revenue etc).
  • To be commercially astute in order to maximise business growth and revenue streams.
  • Strong IT skills in order to effectively maintain and use company CRM and trading/payment systems and demonstrate Currency Matters Web Payment System to clients and partners.
  • The confidence and ability to work well under pressure and organise/prioritise your own workload. Working well on your own initiative but also being a team player.
  • Foundation knowledge of global financial markets.
  • A solution based and problem solving approach to follow all matters through to resolution.
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and exceeding targets.
  • Experience in business to business sales and customer service.
  • Knowledge of foreign exchange, international payments, banking, treasury (desirable).
  • Graduate in relevant field Eg Business, Finance, Economics (desirable).

Compliance Assistant

Overview:

We are looking for a bright individual to join our busy compliance team.

You will need to be organised, demonstrate good time management, be calm under pressure, have attention to detail and have an experience of banking and payment platforms. The role is suited to someone in the early stages of their career as the successful candidate will have a fantastic opportunity to develop vital skills spanning risk and compliance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Carry out online corporate research and AML checks
  • Maintain adequate records on the our bespoke CRM system
  • Audit customer KYC in line with GDPR regulations
  • Screen new and existing clients against Sanctions lists and identifying links to Politically Exposed Persons
  • Request company searches and credit checks from external agencies
  • Analyse client identification information, identify the existence of any potential AML issues and escalate such issues to the relevant Officer
  • Assisting staff in opening new accounts

Required Skills And Experience:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years corporate compliance related work experience in banking or finance
  • In-depth knowledge of Compliance and Risk management
  • Comprehensive regulatory knowledge – AML and Onboarding in particular
  • Compliance monitoring experience
  • Excellent analytical, research and reporting skills
  • Fully IT literate Microsoft Office
  • Independent and team worker
  • Pro-active and results driven
